STANDARD MEZZANINE DECKING: (A favorite with inplant offices and lite duty storage) Consists of one layer of 5/8" - 3/4" T&G, OSB (oriented strand board) installed over 1-1/2"
deep gauge corrugated steel deck. Oriented strand board, universally known as OSB, is an engineered-wood structural panel
that has replaced plywood in many homebuilding applications, including subfloors, and roof and wall sheathing. Unlike plywood,
which comprises laminated layers--or plies--of wood veneer, OSB is made of thin compressed-wood strips of varying sizes. In
manufacturing of OSB, mats of wood strips with their grain oriented in a single direction are created first, then three or
more mats with the grain of successive layers running perpendicular to one another are bonded together with heat and phenolic
resin under high pressure. OSB is a perticularly good choice for mezzanine floors that support inplant office structures.
Optional overlayments to prepare floor finishes also work well with OSB. The standard OSB panel is 4 feet wide by 8 feet long.
Panels measuring 4 by 9 feet and 4 by 10 feet are also readily available.

WELDED METAL BAR GRATING is the most popular of all grating types due to its strength, cost
efficient production and ease of installation. Welded bar grating is universally used in most general industrial plants as
well as commercial buildings, it has wide applications as walkways, platforms, mezzanines, safety barriers, drainage covers
and ventilation grates.
WELDED METAL BAR GRATING is resistance-welded to create a rugged,
one piece constructed panel. The bearing bars are automatically resistance welded at the contact point with the cross bars
and, under a combination of high heat and pressure, are fused together to form a permanent joint. The cross bars provide a
high degree of rigidity, yet retain a smooth flat surface for free and easy walking.
COLOR: Black Painted Steel.
Other colors available at optional cost.

STEEL TREAD PLATE W/ RAISED DIAMOND PATTERN: Perfect to use as a heavy duty flooring surface
over existing cement or mezzanine structures in factories, freezers and more. This is real Hot Rolled Steel, Diamond
Plate. Diamond Plate is also known around the world as tread plate, checker plate and floor plate. Diamond Plate is commonly
used on mezzanines and fastened over a corrugated metal base. It can also be secured on top of concrete floors. A common thickness
of 1/8" to 1/4" is used for mezzanine applications and size determined by factory engineering during the design
process.
COLOR: Unfinished Hot Rolled Steel. Optional Paint applications are available.
OPTION: Galvanized,
Aluminum and Stainless Steel tread plate are available as option per request.

STEEL TREAD PLATE W/ RAISED DIAMOND PATTERN OVER OSB: In addition to the above steel tread plate,
OSB wood panels can help insulate noise added point load strength to a mezzanine floor. Because this floor is fastened
to the structure, this is an alternative to thicker steel and permanent welding.
COLOR: Unfinished Hot Rolled Steel.
Optional Paint applications are available.
OPTION: Galvanized, Aluminum and Stainless Steel tread plate are
available as option per request.

CONCRETE DECK: When floor strength is the main focus for
a mezzanine structure, a concrete floor may be the answer. Its more of a permanent type structure but allows a higher point
load for the mezzanine floor. Steel mezzanine structure components are provided to accept the pouring of a 4" concrete
floor. The concrete portion is provided by others. DMH, Inc recommends Monster Concrete for your concrete floor needs. (Shown
at the right frame).
